Elza Durham Managing Partner of EDurham Assessoria e Consultoria Empresarial, Elza Durham has been working in the area of Intellectual Property for the past 15 years.
She has a degree in biomedicine and a master’s degree in biophysics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of São Paulo. He has been an Industrial Property Agent since 2011 and holds an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
Her professional experience includes working with independent inventors, universities and national and international companies as well as managing the IP area in legal advisory companies.
Currently, her main activities include technical consultancy in IP, with a focus on Patents (drafting, prosecution, subsidies to technical examination, nullity processes, studies of (in) validity and freedom to operate, etc.), Trademarks, Access to Biodiversity, as well as technical support in legal actions related to these topics.
